Measurements

You may have noticed that I often use 'tablespoons (tbsp) or 'cups' to measure ingredients, this is simply because I find them super easy to use rather than messing around with kitchen scales. Once you get used to the measurements it is a great time saver.

For those who do not often use cups to measure, here is a rough guide:

Flour & Icing Sugar

1/4 cup = 32g

1/3 cup = 43g

1/2 cup = 64g

3/4 cup = 96g

1 cup = 128g

Butter

1/4 cup = 57g

1/3 cup = 76g

1/2 cup = 113g

White Sugar

2 tbsp = 25g

1/4 cup = 50g

1/3 cup = 67g

1/2 cup = 100g

2/3 cup = 134g

3/4 cup = 150g

1 cup = 201g

Brown Sugar

1/4 cup = 55g

1/3 cup = 73g

1/2 cup = 110g

1 cup = 220 g
